Lighting Artist
With almost 5 years in the animation industry, I am a quality candidate for a Lighting TD position, on either a VFX production or animated feature.
My current work experience includes managing a team of Lighting Artists at Nitrogen Studios for the Thomas and Friends DVD movies and television series. My responsibilities include maintaining a close relationship with all the department supervisors, and ensuring that deadlines and artistic directions are met. I am well versed in Maya, Mental Ray, Renderman, and have composited using Shake and Nuke.
My past experience at Rainmaker, Vanguard Animation, Bardel Entertainment, and Rhythm and Hue has exposed me to various pipelines and processing, resulting in adaptability, independence, and accountability in my work. I am a confident leader who is able to take direction and have the necessary teamwork skills in order to create a high quality and smooth production.
